Wild Nothing released their new EP a few days ago and I haven’t really stopped listening to it since then. We first got a taste of the somewhat startling new direction in the first single off the EP, “A Dancing Shell”, which looking back on it now was probably the best way to prepare us for the change. They got a lot more experimental with this record and I applaud them for it, because it’s probably their most interesting piece of work to date. Other stand-out songs include “The Body in Rainfall” and “Ocean Repeating (Big-Eyed Girl)”. Listen to it in full, below.

Wild Nothing serves up some very cool, but seriously unexpected, psychedelic dream pop in their new animated video for “A Dancing Shell”, which is the new single taken off their latest EP, Empty State.

Wild Nothing are releasing their new album, Nocturne, later this month and have made 2 songs from the album available so far. They’re both filled with the perfect amount of summery 80s influences, but “Paradise” (the latest release) is definitely the more promising of the two. Listen to them both below.
