Metronomy | “I’m Aquarius” Video.
Metronomy released the first taste of his upcoming album a few weeks ago, and today we finally get to see the video for it. “I’m Aquarius” is probably one of the most beautiful songs I’ve heard this year and the video definitely lives up to its promise, featuring Joseph Mount as a lonely astronaut who stumbles across an alien planet inhabited by space-age women and a few scary cats. Watch it below.
Nice stuff! Loving the balance of electronic drums and sweet, heartfelt vox.
Awesome video; great song! Interesting thematic overlap with Alpine ‘Seeing Red’:
except, of course, their video sucks lava in comparison.
I love Alpine and hadn’t seen this video. Have to agree, it doesn’t really compete with Metronomy (but what can?). Thanks for sharing!
