Lana Del Rey | “Tropico” Short Film.

Lana Del Rey released her 27-minute long short film, Tropico, last week which features three previously released songs – “Body Electric”, “Gods & Monsters” and “Bel Air”. The video was directed by Anthony Mandler and also stars model, Shaun Ross, who you’ll probably recognise from Katy Perry’s video for “ET”. I’m really glad she decided to leave her home-video style aesthetic behind for this one, as she portrays Eve in the Garden of Eden and then later a stripper, resembling the kind of girl she introduced us to in “Ride”. Although unashamedly arty, it’s unarguably beautiful from start to finish and was definitely well worth the wait. Watch it below.
