Remember Me?
I’ve been terrible at posting stuff lately. I blame it on not having internet since I moved into a new apartment. Life without internet isn’t life at all. Especially when you’re trying to be a serious blogger. I’m not really. And I still haven’t sorted it out. If you would like to complain to someone, phone Telkom.
These babes are making waves all over the internet at the moment. I wasn’t that blown away by their first couple songs, but they’ve really won me over with “Sun Goes Down”, which features The Knocks (who totally make the song) and SA’s very own, St. Lucia.
Kistune Maison are celebrating their 10 year anniversary with their 14th compilation, which will be released next month and features the likes of Saint Lou Lou, Citizens!, Two Door Cinema Club, Friends, Wildcat! Wildcat!, Is Tropical, and many others. These are my favourites from the album.
The Shins got a bit of a ghetto treatment by Slink. Unexpected, but totally welcomed.
Really loving Shlohmo’s version of Jeremih’s “Fuck U All the Time”.
My favourite Blasian (that’s Black-Asian), Toro Y Moi, is back with the latest song from his forthcoming 3rd album, Anything In Return, which will be released early next year.
PVT also just released the first single from their new album, Homosapien.
