Tokyo Police Club | “Argentina (Parts I, II, III)” Lyric Video.

It’s been 3 years since the release of Champ, and Tokyo Police Club are finally back with a 9-minute long first single from their currently untitled new album. “Argentina” begins with a mood quite befitting of pretty much any 90s teen movie’s soundtrack, and then takes a turn into something more Southern than anything we’ve heard from them before. While their new direction is definitely interesting, they do lose a bit of what made their sound so unique to begin with – still, if an album’s first single’s responsibility is to peak our interests it has definitely succeeded in doing so.
