TRMB’s Weekly Event Guide.
There’s quite a lot going on this week (especially around the public holiday), so if you needed help deciding where best to spend your time you’ve come to the right place.
Tuesday: First up is this week’s Untamed Youth, which is teaming up with the UCT Film Society to make their student night even more exciting. The lineup includes Mudblud, Sexual Tension, Elu Eboka and We-Are-Awesome. Oh, and if that wasn’t enough Tequila, Castles & Black Labels are R12 AND entrance is free before 11.

Wednesday: You’ve really got your work cut out for you on Wednesday so deciding between all these parties is going to be pretty tough. My advice – start early and go to them all, tomorrow’s a public holiday FFS. First on the list is See You Next Wednesday ft Haezer. If you’re in the mood for something really wild and sweaty, this is where you’ll want to be.

Wednesday: If you get bored at Assembly, guess what? City Bowl Sessions is happening across the road! And it features TRMB favourites Ryan Gosling, Mudbud, Einstein Adonis, Daddy Warbucks and Das Kapital. You can also party guilt-free because you’re gonna be getting trashed for a good cause. A win-win really.

Wednesday: Lastly, if you wanna travel a bit off the beaten track, you can head on down to The Manila Bar for YOH!’s “last event in a while” (ominous) and will feature some of the best acts that have made this party great.

Friday: Discotheque will be teaming up with My City By Night to bring you Ryan S vs Helmut J, Hyphen vs SFR, JakobSnake, Grimehouse and AweWolves (VJs).

Saturday: At this point if you aren’t broke, lying in a gutter or getting your stomach pumped you’ll be quite pleased to know that it’s time for After Hours! Yes, they really did save the best for last, and this time around the theme is ‘Winter Wonderland’ so you can expect an old man shovelling snow, air conditioning, waking up in an igloo and possibly even… polar bears?
