Happy Tuesday!
It’s amazing how every day of the week can feel so full of promise and joy when you’re on holiday. It may have something to do with the fact that I’m finally getting my much-needed 12 hours of sleep every night, or that I have a lot more time to scour the internet looking for new music. Either way, life’s looking good at the moment and these songs are pretty much the soundtrack to my happy days.
Slow Magic just released a new song for us to dreamwave to.
I’ve just recently listened to the first, self-titled EP from St. Lucia (South African boy wonder) and this song is my life right now. To listen to the rest of the EP, go here.
A while back, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti released a cover from their new album, Mature Dreams, called “Baby”. Yesterday, the band released the first piece of original material from the album, called “Only in My Dreams”. Both songs are equally good, and you can listen to them below.
This song was submitted as one of the entries for the After Hours competition that I held last week. Thanks Sean Magner!
To end off my Happy Tuesday I’ll be going to Fiction for a bit of the usual. This week’s Untamed Youth features Rafi, Haasbroek, Stone-Age Citizens and G-zis. There is no better place to love life so I suggest you all be there! For the event page, go here.
