After Hours: Weird Science

After Hours is probably the best party to go to in Cape Town. It happens once a month at Assembly and plays the best music in town. No-one has ever not had fun/embarrassed themselves at this party and that is what makes it so appealing. A chance to throw your name away, sing, dance and throw feathers in the air – what could be better? GQ recommends it (here), and so do Crazy White Bitches (here). The next installment is happening on Saturday 19th May (put that in your calendar!) and since the playlist mainly consists of old favourites like Blondie, Hall and Oates, and New Order; I’ve compiled my own personal wishlist for the party (SEXUAL TENSION PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PLAY ANY OF THESE).
