The xx + The Great Gatsby | “Together”.

The xx’s song for The Great Gatsby soundtrack is doing all kinds of amazing things to me. While Lana Del Rey felt like an obvious fit the soundtrack, The xx seemed a little less so. Surprisingly however, it works and the strings at the end really enhance their usual minimalism making it sound really powerful and worthy of its place on the soundtrack.
